This lightweight motor is highly efficient in solar applications and has more power than regular DC motors that are several times larger in size. It features a brushless design, more power at all speeds for stickey gates, rough spots and wind gusts. It has increased accuracy controlling gate motion to ensure repeatable, reliable open and close limits. The digitally controlled motor has incredible accuracy and speed control for smooth starts and stops for speed up and slow down zones while limiting the stress on the gate system electrical components.
